The name of film goes well with its story and film has been set in New York. The story of English Vinglish revolves around Shashi (Sridevi) and his husband. Shashi has shown as a house wife and her basic weakness is that she is not well versed in English language speaking. This weakness of her brought element of comedy in the film and most of the scenes are hilarious. But her Shashi has been shown as woman of strong will and within a period of few weeks she overcome her weakness and makes everybody surprise. Sridevi is still lovely and her wonderful performance after such a long time would surprises the audience and especially her fans. English Vinglish is Hope Productions and Eros International production and expected to be released on 21 September 2012.
